Spencer A. Reiss
Spencer A. Reiss is an associate attorney with Grenier Law Group PLLC. Mr. Reiss is a civil litigator focusing his practice on obtaining justice for victims of negligent and intentional conduct. Mr. Reiss understands that the firm’s clients have been injured through no fault of their own, and that civil litigation is often their only chance at obtaining just compensation. Mr. Reiss approaches each of the firm’s cases with diligence, thoughtfulness, and vigor.
Prior to joining Grenier Law Group PLLC, Mr. Reiss worked as an associate attorney with Patten, Wornom, Hatten and Diamonstein, L.C. in Newport News, Virginia. Mr. Reiss represented victims of asbestosis-related lung disease and their families; prosecuted cases for victims of mesothelioma, asbestos, and asbestos-related lung cancer; and litigated mesothelioma cases against the manufacturers of equipment that utilized asbestos-containing components.
Prior to his admission to the Virginia Bar, Mr. Reiss interned with the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of Virginia in Richmond, as well as the Maryland Office of the Public Defender for Prince George’s County, Maryland. While at law school, Mr. Reiss was an executive board member of the school’s national championship-winning Trial Team, as well as a member of the Journal of Woman and Law.
Mr. Reiss volunteers as an assistant coach for the University of Maryland Mock Trial team, on which he once competed as a student.
